Job Description:
A company is looking for a Security Analyst I (SOC Analyst) to
monitor and respond to security threats and incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively monitor security events and alerts using various
security tools
Respond effectively to security events, collaborating with team
members and clients
Analyze security events to determine root causes and assess
potential impacts
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a
related field, or equivalent experience
1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a
SOC environment
Security certifications such as Security+ or CompTIA Network+ are
preferred
Strong understanding of network and security protocols (TCP/IP,
UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.)
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is
preferred
