Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior IMS Systems Programmer to
provide software support and services for mainframe IMS
systems.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfill customer service requests for mainframe z/OS clients
regarding IMS and related software
Provide upgrade support for IMS and related products, ensuring
efficient installation and adherence to best practices
Assist in onboarding new clients and manage resources for timely
implementations while following ITSM change control procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience in IMS administration and systems
programming support
Extensive experience with installation and customization of IMS
subsystems
Strong knowledge of SMP/E, DBRC, and Unix System Services related
to IMS
Ability to configure and manage IMS in a parallel sysplex
environment
