Host Job DescriptionP--che Seafood Grill is seeking a skilled and friendly Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.Responsibilities:

• Greet Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Manage the Host Stand: Maintain a clean and organized host stand and front door area.
• Take Reservations: Answer phone calls and take reservations in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform Administrative Tasks: Complete tasks such as mailing, posting, and filing as assigned by the Manager on duty.
• Seat Guests: Efficiently seat guests according to company standards.
• Communicate with Guests: Clearly and politely communicate with guests regarding delays and waits.
• Present Menus: Present menus and wine lists to guests in a clean and presentable manner.
• Provide Excellent Service: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and attention throughout their dining experience.Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of host and/or restaurant experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
