Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Risk Manager to oversee a
team of registered nurses and manage strategic planning and
workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise quality controls, workflows, and procedures for claim
management and cost containment
Develop and provide training, coaching, and mentoring for Medical
Risk Consultants
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and
external customers while ensuring compliance with policies and
regulations
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, health management, or
a relevant field
Active RN License
5 to 7 years of stop loss risk management experience
In-depth understanding of self-funded insurance, ERISA, and the
Affordable Care Act
Proven management experience and ability to develop strategy for
large organizations
